Three Rows That Still Park

Black Chevrolet Tahoe

The big American SUV without the full length of a Suburban — three rows, seven seats, and a nose that fits a parking structure.

The Suburban's job, fifteen inches shorter. Most weeks, that is the difference that matters.

The Tahoe is the Suburban with the tail cut short: the same underpinnings, the same V8, the same three rows and the same quiet at freeway speed, in a body that goes into an ordinary parking structure without the three-point turn. Seven seats, a boot behind the third row that takes the carry-ons, and the fold-flat rows for the day it is luggage rather than people.

01The departures kerb in the early morning, from behind: the tall lamps, the wide liftgate, the running boards.

Black on the current Tahoe works because the car is drawn with a lot of straight horizontal lines — the grille bar, the shoulder, the roofline — and a dark finish lets those read as one continuous piece instead of as separate panels. With the chrome bar across the grille and the silver wheels it reads as a car service at a hotel entrance and as a family car at a trailhead, which is the range this booking usually covers.

With all three rows up the boot takes carry-ons and soft bags for six; for a family's hard cases, the Suburban is on its own page. For six people and a week of Los Angeles, this is the easier car to live with by a clear margin.

Queries

Where can I rent a Chevrolet Tahoe in Los Angeles?
Nizo Luxury rents the Chevrolet Tahoe in Los Angeles — +1 (424) 303-6496. It is $279 a day; we bring it to your hotel or your home, or you collect it at no charge from our office on Robertson Boulevard.
How much does it cost to rent a Chevrolet Tahoe in Los Angeles?
The black Tahoe is $279 a day. The day rate is the whole of it on this car — there is no weekly or monthly block, so a longer booking is priced day by day. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary; LAX delivery is charged each way, in two tiers, and the figures are on our delivery page.
Tahoe or Suburban?
Length. The Suburban is the same car with fifteen inches more behind the third row — a boot that takes hard cases with every seat full. The Tahoe gives up that boot and gains a body that fits a parking structure and a hotel forecourt without ceremony. Six people with carry-ons: Tahoe. Eight people with cases: Suburban.
How many people does it really seat?
Seven in comfort across three rows — two captain's chairs in the middle, three across the back. Tell us your party and your bag count and we will confirm which of the two big Chevrolets fits before you book.
Is it hard to drive in Los Angeles?
Easier than it looks. It is tall rather than long, the cameras cover every corner, and the running boards are at the right height for children. Freeway, kerb and canyon are effortless; only the oldest Santa Monica structures need a slow approach.
Can I see the dates before I call?
Yes — the diary on this page is the live fleet calendar. If a date is open there, it is open.

The terms, before you commit

Refundable deposit
$750
A hold, not a charge, and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price.
Protection plan
$100 a day
Priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
Driver, 21–24
$50 a day
Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies at or above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
Shortest booking
24 hours
No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day.

Renting the Chevrolet Tahoe: the short answers

Can I book the Chevrolet Tahoe with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $679 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the Chevrolet Tahoe, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $50 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the Chevrolet Tahoe, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the Chevrolet Tahoe be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the Chevrolet Tahoe out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
What does a weekend in the Chevrolet Tahoe cost, and can I rent it by the hour?
$558 for two days and $837 for three, before the Protection plan, tax and any delivery — there is no separate weekend rate, and one day is the minimum on a Saturday too. The day is the shortest self-drive booking; by the hour, the car goes out with a driver, from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum.
