Grey Cadillac Escalade ESV Sport on a cobbled forecourt at golden hour

Grey Cadillac Escalade ESV

The long-wheelbase Escalade in dark grey, blacked out: the seven seats and the luggage, without announcing either.

Sport trim, blacked out, in dark metallic grey: the one somebody chose.

The grey ESV is the Sport specification — the black mesh grille with no chrome on it, black badging, black wheels. Combined with a deep metallic grey it turns the most conspicuous SUV in Los Angeles into something you could park outside a house without the neighbours forming a view about it.

01On a canyon overlook at golden hour. The blacked-out grille and wheels are what separate this one from the other two ESVs in the fleet.

Nothing has been given up to get there. It is the same long body with the boot behind the third row, the same independent rear suspension that keeps it quiet at freeway speed, the same second-row captain's chairs with their own climate controls. The difference is entirely in what it says when it pulls up.

It is also the easiest of the three to live with over a week. Dark metallic grey hides Los Angeles dust, and it does not carry the two associations, the car service and the wedding, that the other two finishes bring with them whether you want them or not.

Grey, and chosen.

Queries

Where can I rent a Cadillac Escalade ESV in Los Angeles?
Nizo Luxury rents the Cadillac Escalade ESV in Los Angeles — +1 (424) 303-6496. It is $500 a day; we bring it to your hotel or your home, or you collect it at no charge from our office on Robertson Boulevard.
How much does it cost to rent a grey Cadillac Escalade ESV in Los Angeles?
The grey ESV is $500 a day, the same as the black and the white. The day rate is the whole of it on this car — there is no weekly or monthly block, so a longer booking is priced day by day. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary.
What is different about the grey one?
It is the Sport specification: the grille, the badging and the wheels are black rather than chrome. Mechanically it is identical to the other two ESVs at the same rate; the difference is the Sport trim — the black grille, badges and wheels.
Will it fit seven adults and their suitcases from LAX?
Yes — that is the job it was picked for. Seven seats, with a boot behind the third row that takes full-size cases rather than soft bags. Tell us the flight and we will confirm it against your bag count.
Is it hard to drive and park in Los Angeles?
On a freeway and at a kerb it is superb, and in a tight Santa Monica parking structure a valet or an open bay handles it; we deliver it to the door either way.
Can I see the dates before I call?
Yes — the diary on this page is the live fleet calendar. If a date is open there, it is open.

The terms, before you commit

Refundable deposit
$750
A hold, not a charge, and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price.
Protection plan
$100 a day
Priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
Driver, 21–24
$50 a day
Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies at or above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
Shortest booking
24 hours
No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day.

Renting the Cadillac Escalade ESV: the short answers

Can I book the Cadillac Escalade ESV with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $900 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the Cadillac Escalade ESV, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $50 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the Cadillac Escalade ESV, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the Cadillac Escalade ESV be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the Cadillac Escalade ESV out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
What does a weekend in the Cadillac Escalade ESV cost, and can I rent it by the hour?
$1,000 for two days and $1,500 for three, before the Protection plan, tax and any delivery — there is no separate weekend rate, and one day is the minimum on a Saturday too. The day is the shortest self-drive booking; by the hour, the car goes out with a driver, from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum.
