Eight Seats, In White
White Chevrolet Suburban
Three rows, a boot behind the third, and the finish that makes a car this long look like a family car rather than a detail unit.
The black one waits at terminal kerbs. This one goes to the beach.
The Suburban is the longest-running nameplate in American motoring and it has always been for the same thing: moving a lot of people and a lot of luggage a long way without anybody noticing the effort. Three rows, up to eight seats, and — the part that matters — a boot behind the third row that still takes real suitcases when every seat is full.

5.3L V8 · 4WD
It shares the Escalade ESV's underpinnings and independent rear suspension, at a lower rate. At freeway speed it is quiet and settled rather than busy; the V8 is unhurried, the ride is soft, and a run to Palm Springs or Santa Barbara passes in near-silence.
White does something specific to a car this long: it breaks the flank with reflection instead of letting it read as one dark wall, so the Suburban looks like a large family vehicle rather than like a detail unit. It is the friendlier of the two we run, and by some distance the better one to photograph outdoors — which, for a wedding party or a week at the beach, is not a small thing.
Same job as the Escalade.
Plainer face, lower rate.
02One chrome bar with the bowtie on it, and the boot behind the third row with two large cases in it. Both true with every seat taken.

The terms, before you commit
- Refundable deposit
- $750
- A hold, not a charge, and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price.
- Protection plan
- $100 a day
- Priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
- Driver, 21–24
- $50 a day
- Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies at or above a $1,500 deposit; this car is below it.
- Shortest booking
- 24 hours
- No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction.
This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day.
