Los Angeles · Above the counter, below the supercars

Everyday Luxury Car Rental in Los Angeles

The tier most people actually want and almost nobody has a page for: better than what an airport counter hands you, and nothing you have to explain to anyone. 48 cars from $102 a day, delivered to you rather than queued for.

  • 48 cars, $102 to $2,000 a day
  • Deposits $350–$750, not four figures
  • No counter, no shuttle, no queue
  • One car in one colour — reserved by name

Where this shelf sits

Above the corporate counter and below the exotics. That is the whole positioning, and it is a real tier rather than a discount on the one above it: 48 cars from $102 to $2,000 a day, on refundable deposits of $350 to $750 instead of the $1,500 and $2,000 the supercars carry. Nobody at this level is trying to be looked at. In body terms it is SUVs and sedans, and the rest of each shape, up to the flagships, is on luxury SUVs to rent in Los Angeles and luxury sedans to rent in Los Angeles.

The difference you feel first is not the car. It is that there is no counter, no shuttle bus and no queue: the car is brought to your hotel, your office or your door at the hour you name and collected from the same address at the end. Collection at our office on 2022 S Robertson Blvd is free, and so is delivery to our four partner hotels in Beverly Hills. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Anywhere else is quoted with the car, before anything is committed.

What a few days actually costs

Read the five-day column rather than the daily one if you are keeping the car for a working week. Every figure here is what the quote charges: the block on this fleet is five days rather than seven, and it is only used when it beats five days at the daily rate.

The car you book is the car that arrives

Every car here is a single car in a single colour. That is why a booking is of that car rather than of its category — no "or similar", and the thing that turns up is the thing in the photographs. Because there is one of each, the first dates in hold the colour: give them early and the choice is wide; give them on the Friday and the shelf decides for you.

What you need

To rent a luxury car in Los Angeles

Not passing one of these? The same car goes out with our driver instead. On a chauffeured booking there is no named driver, so the age rule and the deposit do not arise — only the hours. With the keys, all four lines above stand. What a driver costs.

Everyday Luxury Rental Questions

What is a good company in Los Angeles for renting a nice car that is not exotic?

Nizo Luxury rents them — +1 (424) 303-6496: cars from $102 to $2,000 a day, above what an airport counter hands you and below the supercars. Each is one car in one colour, reserved by name, so what arrives is what you chose.

Does the daily rate come down if I keep the car for a week?

Yes, from the fifth day: the block on this fleet is five days rather than seven, and the quote applies it wherever it beats five days at the daily rate. Seven days is the five-day block plus two days wherever the block wins. You never have to work that out: the quote takes whichever combination costs least across your dates. A month or longer is its own page — monthly luxury car rental.

How much is the deposit on a car at this level?

Between $350 and $750, refundable, held against a credit card in the renter's name and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. The exotics sit at $1,500 and $2,000, which is the other practical difference between the two shelves and the one people notice at the point of booking rather than on the rate card.

Do I have to collect it from an airport?

No, and there is no counter to queue at either. Collection is free at our office on 2022 S Robertson Blvd and delivery is free to our four partner hotels in Beverly Hills — the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is quoted with the car, before anything is committed.

Can I rent a luxury car for one day, or by the hour?

For one day, yes — twenty-four hours is the shortest self-drive rental, and a day is the whole of the commitment. By the hour, the car goes out with a driver: a chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate.

Can I book online, or do I have to call?

Either. On a car with a live calendar, choose the dates on its page and pay online — the rental, the Protection plan and the sales tax — and the booking is confirmed there and then. The cars that go out on request, and anything for tomorrow morning, are quicker by phone: the car and the total come back in writing before you pay. There is no notice period; once a booking is paid, a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour.

How is the price of a luxury car rental worked out?

The car's day rate for your dates, built from the cheapest mix of single days and the five- and twenty-one-day blocks on the cars that carry them; the Protection plan per day, unless your own policy is accepted; delivery, if the car is neither collected nor going to a partner hotel; a young-driver fee per day under 25; and Los Angeles County sales tax at 10.25%. The refundable hold sits outside the total, and every line is on the quote before you pay.

How do I pay — can I use a debit card, cash, Zelle or crypto?

By major credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover — rather than cash, a bank transfer such as Zelle, or crypto. The rental, the Protection plan and the sales tax are paid in full when you book, and nothing more is taken at pickup. The refundable hold must be on a credit card in the renter's own name — not a debit card, and not somebody else's card — placed at handover and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price.

The deposit, explained

Does my own insurance or my credit card cover a luxury car rental?

Your own policy covers the rental if it is collision and comprehensive rather than liability only, reaches the value of the car you are renting, has no exclusion for exotic or high-value rentals, and names every driver — send us the certificate before the booking date and the Protection plan comes off the quote. A credit card’s built-in rental benefit is the one to read twice: American Express’s names exotic and high-value vehicles as not covered.

Your policy or ours

Are the miles unlimited, and can I drive to Las Vegas?

No car here has unlimited miles: each carries its own daily allowance, set per car rather than by class, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate beyond it. Any car may leave California — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind. The car comes home to Los Angeles: there is no one-way drop in Las Vegas or any other city.

Can I take a luxury car to a track day?

No. Racing and any track activity are prohibited on every car, and so is off-road driving. The canyons and the coast road are where these cars earn their day, and neither needs a circuit.

Rules of use, in the terms

Can I book a luxury car for someone else, or for an employee?

Yes, but the person driving is the renter. Every driver is named on the rental agreement before the car goes out, comes to the handover with their licence and identification, and meets the same tests — 21 or over, a licence held two years — and the refundable hold goes on a credit card in the renter's own name. A company can book under a corporate account and be invoiced.

Corporate rentals

Are there discounts or offers?

The monthly offer: 30 days from $1,450 on the everyday SUVs, minivans and convertibles, with the Protection plan included, on the monthly rental page. The promo codes are on the specials page. Longer bookings also come down on their own, through the five- and twenty-one-day blocks on the cars that carry them, without a code.

Current offers

Who pays for a speeding or parking ticket?

You do, for anything the car picks up while it is with you — tickets, citations, tolls and express-lane charges. The notice reaches us days to several weeks after the rental; we charge the card on file for the amount on it plus the administrative fee in your rental agreement, and email you the figure with the notice attached. Nothing is charged before the notice arrives.

What happens if the car breaks down?

Ring us straight away on +1 (424) 303-6496. We carry roadside assistance and replace the car where one is available; do not arrange a repair or a tow yourself.

Breakdowns and roadside assistance

What fuel does it take, and can I smoke in it?

Premium, and it goes out full and comes back full. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in every car, and a smoking fee is charged if it has been.

Fuel, smoking and pets

Can I cancel or change the dates?

Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, while the car is free on the new ones. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.

Terms and conditions

Is there a cleaning fee?

Ordinary cleaning is part of every rental. A fee applies only when a car comes back badly soiled — sand through the carpets, food or spilled drinks — and it is photographed at return.
