Yellow BMW M4 from a low front three-quarter on a downtown Los Angeles parking deck

Impossible To Miss

Yellow BMW M4

A 503 hp straight-six under an acid-yellow bonnet, and a grille that has been arguing with people since the day it was drawn.

Nobody has ever failed to notice this car, and that is the entire specification.

São Paulo Yellow is the shade BMW launched the current M4 in, and it was not an accident: it makes the shape impossible to ignore. Underneath the paint is a twin-turbocharged straight-six making 503 hp, four real seats and a real boot — a car you could genuinely use on a Tuesday, in a colour that makes every Tuesday an occasion.

01On the top deck at dusk with the city behind it. The colour does most of the work; the wide rear track does the rest.

The straight-six is the reason to book it. It is turbocharged and it pulls from anywhere, but it also keeps revving past the point most turbo engines have given up, which is what separates an M car from a fast saloon. The eight-speed gearbox does the thinking in traffic and gets out of the way on Mulholland.

What surprises people is the ride. Adaptive dampers in comfort mode make it civilised over a patched Los Angeles surface — it is not a stiff-legged track car that punishes you between the good roads.

You do not choose this colour
and then hope to blend in.

The guest book

  • The M4 left a really good impression on me. May be my next car. It was in great condition, clean, and drove great. Would love to rent with them again. Convenient pickup and drop off from airport. Very simple handover of keys.

  • It was an absolute blast to drive. You can tell the car is extremely well cared for, everything felt tight, clean, and dialed in. They made pickup super easy with clear, straightforward directions, which made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend this exotic car rental and WILL rent again.

Queries

Where can I rent a BMW M4 in Los Angeles?
Nizo Luxury rents the BMW M4 in Los Angeles — +1 (424) 303-6496. It is $449 a day; we bring it to your hotel or your home, or you collect it at no charge from our office on Robertson Boulevard.
How much does it cost to rent a BMW M4 in Los Angeles?
The yellow M4 is $449 a day. The day rate is the whole of it on this car — there is no weekly or monthly block, so a longer booking is priced day by day. Delivery to our Beverly Hills partner hotels is complimentary.
Is it usable as an everyday car for the week?
Yes, and that is the unusual thing about it. Four seats that adults fit in, a boot that takes real luggage, and a comfort mode that makes a patched freeway surface a non-event. It is a supercar-quick car with none of the daily penalties.
How fast is it?
The twin-turbocharged straight-six makes 503 hp and it will reach 60 mph in about 3.8 seconds. In Los Angeles the number that matters more is how it behaves at 30, and there it is completely calm.
Why yellow?
São Paulo Yellow is why people book this car: it turns every arrival into an occasion.
Can I see the dates before I call?
Yes — the diary on this page is the live fleet calendar. If a date is open there, it is open.

The terms, before you commit

Refundable deposit
$2,000
A hold, not a charge, and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price.
Protection plan
$225 a day
Priced off the deposit rather than the rate. Your own qualifying full-coverage policy takes this line out of the quote entirely.
Driver, 21–24
$175 a day
Twenty-one is the floor, with a licence held two years. The higher band applies at or above a $1,500 deposit; this car is in it.
Shortest booking
24 hours
No maximum. Delivery is complimentary at our Robertson Boulevard lot and our four Beverly Hills partner hotels; LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction.

This one is the same rate at every length — it carries no multi-day block, so three days is three times one day.

Renting the BMW M4: the short answers

Can I book the BMW M4 with a driver?
Yes. A chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate — $849 for a four-hour evening in this car. No security deposit is taken on a chauffeured booking. The same car can be driven to the event and yours with the keys the morning after; the chauffeur service page has the runs and the hours.
What do I need to rent the BMW M4, and can international guests book?
A driver of 21 or over with a licence held at least two years — between 21 and 24 a young-driver fee of $175 a day applies on this car, and under 21 is considered case by case. A major credit card in the primary renter's name for the refundable hold, and cover for the car: your own full-coverage policy if it extends to a rental, or our Protection plan arranged with the booking. International guests rent on a passport and a home-country licence; no International Driving Permit is needed. The hold is released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. If the age floor or the cover is the thing in the way, the same car goes out with a driver instead — that booking asks neither of you.
How far ahead should I book the BMW M4, and can I change the dates?
There is no notice period: the calendar on this page shows the days it is free, and once a booking is paid a car that is free can be on its way to you in about an hour — same day included. Moving the dates is free, as often as you need, outside the last day before the start; a change inside it keeps one day's rate. What comes back if you cancel is set out in our terms and conditions.
Can the BMW M4 be delivered to my hotel, my home or LAX?
Yes. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.
How many miles are included, and can I take the BMW M4 out of California?
Every car carries its own daily mileage allowance, and yours arrives in writing with the booking confirmation, together with the per-mile rate for anything over it. The car may leave the state — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — as long as you tell us the plan in advance and keep the allowance in mind; it comes home to Los Angeles, since there is no one-way drop in another city.
What does a weekend in the BMW M4 cost, and can I rent it by the hour?
$898 for two days and $1,347 for three, before the Protection plan, tax and any delivery — there is no separate weekend rate, and one day is the minimum on a Saturday too. The day is the shortest self-drive booking; by the hour, the car goes out with a driver, from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum.
